Practical example
A job to walk through
For a damaged boundary wall, keep the original photos, inspected dimensions, agreed brick match and removal allowance beside the accepted quote. Record any changed scope before the crew starts rebuilding.
Illustrative example. Adapt the brief to your own job and agreed responsibilities.
Bring these scope details
- Wall length, height, openings and the agreed extent of demolition
- Brick and mortar selection, matching allowance and who supplies materials
- Access, spoil removal and any separately arranged engineering or approvals
Photograph the existing wall, agreed sample and finished faces. Note any retained sections that were outside the repair scope.
