Practical example
A job to walk through
For a property-manager work order, split the requested repairs into an agreed task list. Record what was completed, what requires another trade and what still needs approval before raising the invoice.
Illustrative example. Adapt the brief to your own job and agreed responsibilities.
Bring these scope details
- Task-by-task scope and the approval limit or agreed price
- Materials, attendance and any expected return visit
- Occupant access, invoice recipient and excluded licensed or specialist work
Keep work-order references, before-and-after photos for each task and a clear outstanding-work list. Mark incomplete items explicitly instead of treating the visit as blanket completion.
